ANNE-MARIE CZIKO, PH.D.

NEUROSCIENTIST

Anne-Marie Cziko is a Neuroscientist with extensive experience applying research findings to business, education and everyday life.

Anne-Marie has a doctorate in synaptic plasticity (or how the brain changes) and over a decade of research experience.  She has worked with several model organisms and her scientific publications appear in the journals Science, Neuron and Genetics.    

After completing her doctoral degree Anne-Marie joined a large educational non-profit and led the development of a continuing education program for educators.  While in this role she received private funding to develop a 30 hour USC Rossier School of Education accredited training program which trained educators in applying Neuroscience and Psychology findings to the classroom.

Following this successful program development, Anne-Marie co-founded adaptED Consultants, a firm that specializes in communicating complex scientific material into strategic and targeted cultural, management and educational practice.  Her firm has worked with fortune 500 companies, charter networks, school districts and community organizations.

Anne-Marie specializes is building research based training programs that are accessible, empowering and engaging and help leaders create positive and productive cultures based on what we know about the human brain. 

Anne-Marie lives in Playa Del Rey, California with her husband Kevin (another brain nerd!) and her two sons Lukas and Mason.  She loves exploring the natural world with her family and spending time learning to surf, stand up paddle boarding and running along the Pacific Ocean.
